Joe Bud Coates

GLASGOW – Joe Bud Coats, 59,passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024, suddenly at T.J. Samson Hospital. He was the son of the late James Della Coates and Anna Kettles Coats. He was a construction worker by trade.

He is survived by his significant other, Gail Baker; two daughters, Mary Coates (Chucky Green), Donnie Muse (Gary); two step-sons, Doug Baker (Rebecca), and Michael Ray Baker (Candace); four grandchildren, Kevin Wright, Victoria Fancher, Kinsley Green, and Hope Muse; five step-grandchildren, Miyah Baker, Timmy Baker, Dixon Baker, Bentley Baker, and Braelin Baker; two brothers, James Coates and Robert Dale Coates: three sisters, Bonnie Carver (Roger), Della Carver (Jim), and Crystal Vaughn; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Randy Vaughn; and a sister, Connie Wooten.

Joe’s wishes were to be cremated. There will be no services at this time. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting family with arrangements.
