John “Chickpea” Thornbury, Jr. age 75 Passed Away

John “Chickpea” Thornbury, Jr. age 75 of Munfordville passed away Sunday, May 26th at his home.

He was the son of the late John Thornbury, Sr. & Belva Stone Thornbury.  He was also preceded by his son Justin Kyle Thornbury and a brother Thomas Lee Thornbury.

John is survived by a granddaughter Meredith Thornbury and her mother Laura Stinson and a niece Leigh Anne VanHoose.

A memorial service for John “Chickpea” Thornbury will be held at 3 pm Friday, May 31st in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home. Friends and family are welcome to gather and share memories after 2 pm on Friday at the Sego Funeral Home until time for the service.
