Thelma Lee Harbison

GLASGOW – Thelma Lee Harbison, 86, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, at her residence. A native of Metcalfe County, she was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Alyne Smith Harbison.

She was a secretary at Richardson Hardware, from which she retired with over 50 years of service. She was a member of the South Green Church of Christ.

Survivors include two brothers, Denny Harbison and Stanley Harbison and his wife Elaine; a special nephew, Doug Williams and his wife Sandy; along with several other nephews and nieces and their children.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Harbison and his wife Myrna; two sisters, Rebecca Williams and Maedean Coffey and her husband Larry; and one sister-in-law, Sondra Harbison.

The family is honoring Ms. Harbison’s wishes to be cremated. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with inurnment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 8:00 a.m. Thursday.
