Sharon Faye Wisdom

EDMONTON – Sharon Faye Wisdom, 79, passed away Monday, May 20, 2024, at NHC Healthcare. Sharon was born March 8, 1945, to the late Otis and Ruth Thompson Atkin. She is also preceded in death by her husband’s, Bobby Bailey, Carlos Wisdom; and her brother, Larry Akin.

Sharon attended Beaumont Community Church and enjoyed volunteering at Community Action.

She is survived by her four children, Pam Konopa of Columbus, IN, Greg (Sheryl) Bailey of Glasgow, Robin (Mike) Garrett of Georgetown, and Tony (Teresa) Bailey of Glasgow; nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Betty Byrd and Reeta (Ricky) Stephenson; special friends, Debbie (Garry) Harper and Joyce Shive; one Aunt, Nellie (Dallas) Cornett.

Funeral services for Sharon will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Butler Funeral Home with burial in the Smith Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:30PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday, May 21 at the funeral home and after 8:00 AM on Wednesday until time of the service.
