This year’s Campbellsville University’s Excellence in Teaching award winners are Mr. Adam Howard, Metcalfe County High School, Mrs. Buddie Brockman, Metcalfe County Middle School, and Mrs. Christie Anderson, Metcalfe County Elementary School.

Campbellsville University began the Excellence in Teaching Award Program in 1987 to recognize quality teaching in Kentucky schools and to strengthen the field of education.

The award provides statewide recognition to three outstanding individuals in each district for their leadership and dedication to the teaching profession, with the expectation that the recipients’ examples may inspire all teachers to excel.

More than 3,000 teachers have been honored since the program’s inception.
