MCHS 2019 graduate Jackie Vrocher broadened her horizons in Sydney Australia. She gave a short overview of her experience in the land down under.
Taking on an overseas internship in Sydney, Australia, was an amazing opportunity made possible through the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship. This experience not only helped me grow professionally, but also personally as I got to immerse myself in a new culture and work environment.
I’m eternally grateful for the support of the Gilman Scholarship, which opened doors for me to broaden my horizons and pursue my goals internationally. I encourage university students with international study interests to explore the eligibility criteria for the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship and consider applying to unlock their own opportunities for life-changing experiences abroad.
