Bonnie Sue Copass

GLASGOW – Bonnie Sue Copass, 79, passed away peacefully, Friday, April 12, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Louisville and was the daughter of the late John and Zelda Alvey Prechtel. She was a member of Saint Helens Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son, Darrel Copass (Shannon); five grandchildren, Jessica Vanburen (Thomas Lively), Dakota Copass (Brianna), Michael Vanburen (Jesse), Christopher Copass, and Sarah Copass; three great-grandchildren, Ivy Vanburen, Asaiah Copass, and Athena Copass; brother, John Richard Prechtel (Diana); sister, Gwendolin Receveur (Bruce); one sister-in-law, Pam Copass; the Johnson and Chapman families and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Darrel Leon Copass; brother, Clyde Prechtel; sister, Nancy Seipp; great-granddaughter, Sahara Copass.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2024, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with Burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 4:00pm Wednesday at the funeral Home.
