Mark Sterling McCoy

Mark Sterling McCoy, age, 60 of Indianapolis, IN died Tuesday, April 9, 2024,, at his residence. Born in Indianapolis, IN the son of the late Stanley Smith and Ina Ann Ping McCoy.

He was a mechanic for Valley Tire Company, he was very mechanically inclined, loved to travel, loved old cars and trucks, and could unlock any car in seconds.

Survivors include his daughter, Ashley Edwards (Robert) of Indianapolis; his son, Christopher McCoy of Indianapolis; 3 grandchildren, Tanner, Trenton, and Trey Edwards; 2 brothers, Steve McCoy (Annie Wilson of Indianapolis, Billy McCoy (Marci) of Indianapolis; 1 sister, Maesha Martin (Roger); along with several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday. April 16, 2024, at the McMurtrey Funeral with burial in the Union # 2 Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 10 am until time for the service at 2 PM at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of contributions to Union # 2 Cemetery and can be left at the funeral home.
