Dallies E. Wood

GLASGOW – Dallies E. Wood, 55, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. A native of Barren County, he was the son of the late Dallies L. Wood and Regina M. Davis Wood. He was a former manager of a furniture rental store.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy J. Wood; three daughters, Alison Stone (Joshua Woodard), Alyssa Wood (Joseph Justice), and Dallia Wood; six grandchildren, Jaylin Craine, Jayla Craine, Jaliyah Ray, Lyndie Justice (due in July), Nolan Furlong, and Maddux Furlong; two brothers, Aldwin “A” Wood (Patricia) and Ricky Wood; three sisters, Sally Hayes, Gwendolyn Wood, and Tina Wood; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Tamara Wood.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Louis L. Wood; and two sisters-in-law, Brenda Wood and Faye Wood.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
