New details in lawsuit for death of Jeremy Marr

There has been a new development in the lawsuit filed against the City of Glasgow and three GPD officers, for the April 2020 shootings death of Jeremy Marr.
The GPD has been dismissed from the suit, but the city of Glasgow is named; The officers were dismissed in their official capacity, but are being sued as individuals.
An order was filed on May 23, in the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky setting deadlines for the case.
The first deadline set is October 31, 2022, requiring the suit’s parties to file all motions to join additional parties. Pretrial fact, discovery and depositions of expert witnesses must be completed by May 1 of next year. By January 16 of next year, those filing the suit must submit information regarding who will testify.
This lawsuit for the death of Marr, who died in police custody in a highly publicized death, was filed by his estate, wife and minor child last spring.
