Jerry Parks
GLASGOW – Jerry Parks, gospel preacher, died November 4th, 2026. He was a faithful servant, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Born on March 09, 194, in Barberton, Ohio, to the late Alice and Albert Parks. He was a minister within The Lord’s church for 53 years throughout Kentucky, Ohio, and Illinois.
He also did evangelistic work establishing churches for over 30 years in India and the Philippines.
He was loved throughout our country and beyond in India and the Philippines. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jeri Ann; 2 daughters, Teri Parks and Barbara Madrigal; and one son, Stephen Parks.
He had 15 grandchildren: Brian and Kristen Parks, John, Rebekah, and Josh Madrigal (Jackie), and Sarah Jackson (Dalton), Khaliyah, Bryan, Jackie, Heaven, Amber, Jay, Lanesha, Arianna, Leonna.
He had 22 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother and a sister. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Kelly Diane.
A Memorial service will take place at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home on Saturday, November 14th, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday morning.
