Charles Wayne “Chuck” Bennett

HISEVILLE – Charles Wayne “Chuck” Bennett, 75, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the T J Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Glasgow on May 3, 1951, to the late Charles Luther Bennett and Virginia Aline Neal Bennett. Chuck was a dedicated farmer who loved the Hiseville community. He was a man who could make a friend everywhere he went and would quickly draw a crowd with his hilarious stories of the old days. His laugh was contagious; his tales would make you laugh ‘til your belly hurt, and he most likely gave you a nickname that he would forever refer to you as. Chuck had a deep love for his family and friends. He will never be forgotten by all who were honored to know and love him.

Survivors include his sons, Michael and Dillon Bennett; his stepson, Justin Basil and his stepdaughter, Brittany Bennett all of Hiseville; a special daughter, Wendy Bragg; ten grandchildren, Jacob, Zachary, Waylon, Chase, Leann, Matthew, Gracelynn, Lillyan, Trinity, and Ammon; three great-grandchildren, Bentley, Kensley, and Liam; two sisters, Brenda Morgan (Myron) and Patricia Rutherford (Eric); one sister-in-law, Teresa Lane; one brother-in-law, Larry Houchens; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
