Jessie E. Jennings

GLASGOW – Jessie Jennings, 79, passed away peacefully with his family on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at his residence. He retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and was a Vietnam veteran. He was the son of the late Edd and Minnie Pearl Oliver Jennings.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Neal Jennings; one son, Christopher E. Jennings (Laura); two grandsons, Chris Carlos Jennings and Joshua Landon Jennings; two brothers, Frank Jennings and Bill Jennings; two sisters, Bonnie Sue Jennings and Tilda Ann Jennings; one niece and three nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Jennings.

Funeral will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time for services. Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV will provided military honors at the cemetery.
