Edward Lee Wallace

LA GRANGE, KY – Edward Lee Wallace, 75, was born March 13, 1951, in Glasgow, Kentucky, and passed away July 27, 2026. A man known for steady dedication and enduring loyalty, Eddie will be remembered with deep respect and lasting affection by all who had the privilege to know him.

Eddie was a 1970 graduate of Metcalfe County High School. He built his life through hard work and commitment, earning his living as a pipefitter and dedicating many years of service to both General Electric and Ford. Through the years, his devotion to family and the people around him remained a constant—quietly expressed, faithfully given, and deeply felt.

Away from work, Eddie found his joy outdoors. He loved to play golf and enjoyed fishing, boating, and hunting—simple pleasures that reflected a life grounded in appreciation for time spent outside and in good company.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert Creal and Ruby Jane (Frodge) Wallace; his wife, Rebecca K. (Lentz) Wallace; daughter-in-law, Adelaide Luckett; mother and father-in-law, Melvin and Pearl Lentz; and his siblings, Wister Wallace, Marjorie Reece, Tommy Wallace, and Judy Irvin.

He is survived by his children, Courtney Wallace and Kristie Ash (Todd); his grandchildren, Josi and Carter Ash; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will carry his memory forward with love.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 1:30 pm until 8:00 pm EST at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home (4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218).

Visitation will also be from 12:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 pm CST Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Butler Funeral Home (201 East Street, Edmonton, KY 42129). Burial will immediately follow services in Edmonton Cemetery (177 Durham Street, Edmonton, KY 42129).
