Patty Stalcup

EDMONTON – Patty Jane Ervin Stalcup, 60, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at her daughter’s residence. She was born in Metcalfe County on June 21, 1966, to the late Willie Robert “Bootie” and Maelene Burris Ervin.

Patty was a member of Penick’s Chapel United Baptist Church. She was a retired cook and was recently employed at the Lighthouse Restaurant in Sulphur Well, KY. Patty had a great passion for cooking, and she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include one daughter, Haley Kelsay (Stephen) of Edmonton; one step daughter, Olivia Brown (John) of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Caycee Harris of Edmonton and Dexton Bowles of Kansas; four step-grandchildren, Gracey Kelsay of Edmonton, Blake Kelsay of Edmonton, Mia and Saleh Brown of North Carolina; three brothers, Michael Ervin (Linda) of Edmonton, Tony Ervin (Tammy) of Glasgow, and Marty Ervin (Melissa) of Edmonton; one sister, Debbie Hoggard of Edmonton; special sister-in-law, Terri Cassady (David); special niece, Melissa Stinson (Patrick); several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends also survive.

In addition to her parents, Patty is preceded in death by her son, Dexter Harris; one brother, Randy Ervin; two sisters, Sheila Ervin and Bonnie Bragg; two nephews, Daniel Ervin and Marcus Harris; and one brother-in-law, Clark Hoggard.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 6, 2026, at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Sulphur Springs Cemetery. Visitation will begin Monday morning at 10:00 am and will continue until time for the service at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home.

Bro. Rodney Deckard will be officiating, and serving as pallbearers will be Aaron England, Brian Hoggard, Tyler Bray, John Bragg, Kevin Ervin, Greg Ervin, and Jason Ervin. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Stephen Kelsay and Patrick Stinson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.

Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home in Edmonton, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
