Frank Copass, Sr.

GLASGOW – Frank Copass, Sr., age 63, formerly of Gamaliel, Kentucky, passed away on  Saturday, June 27, 2026, at TJ Samson Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky. Frank was born in Monroe County on December 24, 1962, the son of the late Kermit and Mary Crowe Copass. He was a 1980 graduate of Gamaliel High School and a member of the Highland Hills Community Church in Glasgow, Kentucky. He was a retail salesman at the Glasgow Mattress Outlet.

He is survived by one son, Frankie Copass and wife Jayla of Cartersville, Georgia; two daughters, Katie Hayes and Lauren Vonckx; one brother, Mark Copass and wife Vickie; one sister, Betty Copass; three grandsons, Layne Ford, Jaxon Elam, and Sawyer Vonckx; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Katherine Paige Copass.

Graveside Services will be conducted Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Beautiful Home Cemetery, with burial to follow. Brother Mark Copass will officiate the services.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Bartley & Sons Gamaliel Chapel.

Pallbearers: Billy John Smith, Layne Ford, Jaxon Elam, Ricky Jones, Adam Copass, and Chase Kendall.

Honorary Pallbearer: Sawyer Vonckx
