Patricia Lewis

CAVE CITY – Patricia Lewis, age 74, departed this life on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at her residence. A native of Barren County, Patricia was born on July 21, 1951, to the late Johnnie and Flora Mae Laird. She shared fifty-four wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband and best friend, Johnny Lewis, who survives.

Patricia retired as a seamstress from Mammoth Cave Garment and worked at other garment companies through the years. She was a hardworking woman who was never afraid of a day’s labor, faithfully working alongside her husband in the tobacco fields and on the farm. She was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, loved the Lord, and cherished her family above all else.

Along with her husband, Johnny, those left to cherish her memory include her son, Jamie Lewis (Michelle) of Cave City; her grandchildren, Megan Lewis and Jesse Lewis, both of Cave City; her great-grandchildren, Bentley, Aria, and Jackson; and her siblings, Sammy Laird (Wanda), Donna Froedge (Royce), Clavie Laird, Frances Laird, and Anna Blair. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her brother and sister, Turner Laird and Nadine Laird.

Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Park City, KY
