Lonnie Ray Rose
CENTER – Lonnie Ray Rose, age 80, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at his home. He was a native of Pike County, Kentucky. Lonnie was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He attended Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, was strong in his faith, and had a vast knowledge of the Bible. Lonnie was also a Ham Radio Operator, and his tag was KAH VHS. His CB Handle was Boomerang.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hardy Rose and Gladys Chapman Rose; eight siblings, Heston Rose, Andrew Rose, Paul Derosset, Joe Rose, William Rose, Floyd Rose, Gerldine Clevenger, and Jacklene Henson.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Phyllis Trout Rose; one daughter, Stephanie Rose; special niece, Julie Smith; five siblings, John Rose (Diane), Oscar David Rose, Hardy Rose (Blicela), Kathy Anderson (Hassell), Betsy James (Clyde); and several nieces and nephews.
Honoring Lonnie’s wishes, cremation was chosen by the family, and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Winn Funeral Home assisted the Rose Family with these arrangements.
