William E Houchens

GLASGOW – William E Houchens, born October 24, 1940, in Barren County, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and retired from SKF/Tyson Bearing in 2002.

Survivors include his wife, Stephanie (Mikie) Wallace Houchens; daughter, Theresa Houchens of Smiths Grove; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Dickie Houchens; granddaughter, Olivia (Will) Bradshaw; grandson, Thomas (Bailey) Houchens; great-grandchildren, Grady and Lydia Bradshaw, all of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Houchens and Mary Morgan Houchens Eubank; stepfather, J.B. Eubank; sister, Edna Skaggs; brother, Joseph Eubank, Jr.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 24th, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday, and Sunday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Southside Baptist Church Building Fund or Hospice of Southern Kentucky, Bowling Green, Kentucky.
