Ada Ellen Carver

GLASGOW- Ada Ellen Carver, 69, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 23, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by loving family members. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Gus and Wilkie Louis Wright Allen.

Survivors include two daughters, Stacey Shirley (Tommy) with their children, Zachary Carver, Jakob Shirley (McKenna), and Joshua Shirley (Meghan); and Dana Coats (Scott) with their children, Sierra Salvage (Trevor), Katie Troyer (Andy), and Isaac Coats (Autumn); seven great-grandchildren, Emma Shirley, Abby Salvage, Magnolia Troyer, Miles Salvage, Koda Coats, Oliver Shirley, and Holland Salvage; two sisters, Iva Wright and Eva Nelson (Randy); three brothers, Johnny Wright, Lewis Wright (Carolyn), and Danny Wright (Debbie); two sisters-in-law, Patricia Wright and April Wright; one brother-in-law, James Bennett; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Lane Carver; one sister, Ginny Bennett; and two brothers, Roy Allen Wright and Willie “Red” Wright.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
