Delcie “Faye” Reynolds
GLASGOW – Delcie “Faye” Reynolds, born on March 8, 1940, in Scottsville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026, in Glasgow, with her loved ones by her side. Her life, marked by kindness, strength, and a feisty spirit, left an indelible imprint on all who were fortunate to know her.
Faye dedicated a part of her life working as a waitress, a career that reflected her warm nature. Beyond her work, she found joy in caring for her beloved rose bushes and watching the hummingbirds that frequented her garden. Her love also extended to the excitement of UK sports.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Deborah Faye Reynolds; and cherished grandchildren, Brian Reynolds (Bridget), Katie Reynolds Cole (Quincy), George Rowe (Melissa), Mitzi Carter (Jason), and Malena Reynolds; her great-grandchildren, Gavin Rowe, Taylor Rowe, Melanie Rowe, Nathaniel Carter (Trinity), Jaden Carter, Quincy Jr. Cole, Kannon Cole, Aerius Cole, Alyahna Cole, and Stephanie “Stevie” Reynolds; as well as her great-great-grandchildren, Lydia Morgan and Ivory Carter; her daughter-in-law, Sue Reynolds; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Faye was preceded in death by her father, Herschel E. Sloan, and her mother, Della Turner. She is also joined in memory by her beloved children, Donna Kaye Reynolds, Steven Reynolds, and Eddie Reynolds, along with several brothers and sisters who shared her early days. She is also preceded in death by Bobby L. Reynolds and Chandler Wyatt, her former husbands.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M, Thursday, May 7, 2026, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 6th, from 4:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M at the funeral home, and beginning at 8:00 A.M, Thursday, until time for services.
Faye’s legacy is one of profound love and spirited courage. Her life reminds us of the beauty found in devotion to family and the simple pleasures that bring peace and purpose.
