Lonard Steven Vincent

GLASGOW – Lonard “Steve” Steven Vincent, 74, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, Kentucky, on April 23, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Smiths Grove, Kentucky, on July 2, 1951, to the late Lonard and Joan Vincent.

Steve graduated from North Warren High School in 1969 and enrolled at Western Kentucky University. He met his future wife, Sarah, at her Park City School prom in 1968, and they were married in 1970. They were blessed in their marriage with two children, Sundy (Ken) and Lonnie (Terra). He answered the Lord’s call at Hanging Forks revival in the fall of 1996, along with his son-in-law. After his calling, he was ordained and called to pastor at Oak Forrest Church. Steve was also known for his skilled work as a master electrician and was the owner and operator of Barren River Quality Electric. When he wasn’t working at his business, he could be found working on his farm. Steve loved being outdoors and was passionate about hunting and fishing. He was also an avid sports fan and loved watching Dodger Baseball and UK basketball.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah; daughter, Sundy Thomas (Ken); son, Lonnie Vincent (Terra); grandsons, Colton, Trapper, Samuel, Jonathan, Branch, and Ewing; granddaughter, Mariah (Zach), and their soon-to-be son; and his sisters, Vickie Wilson and Lisa Watt (Jeff).

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his older brother, Harold Michael, and brother-in-law, Bobby Wilson.

Memorial Contributions can be made to Kosairs for Kids Foundation in honor of Steve.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, April 26, 2026, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in the Henderson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday, and Sunday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
