The Edmonton-Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Officers presented the $1000 MCHS Memorial Scholarship to Miss. Kaitlynn Howard. Kaitlynn is the seventeen-year-old daughter of Adam and Tonya Howard.

Kaitlynn plans to attend Lindsey Wilson College this fall and major in Human Services and Counseling with plans to pursue a master’s in early childhood education. Kaitlynn is active in her church and enjoys music, playing tennis, hunting, and fishing.

This scholarship was established in 1997. All seniors who plan to attend postgraduate school, whether it be a college or technical school, are encouraged to apply. This year, the Chamber of Commerce received eleven very impressive scholarship applications from Metcalfe County Seniors.

The Edmonton Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce Memorial Scholarship is made possible each year because of donations made in memory of loved ones, friends, neighbors, and colleagues. Additional funding to support the Scholarship Program is provided by the radio auction fundraisers.

Congratulations Miss. Kaitlynn Howard, we wish you the best this fall and in all that you do.
