Charlotte Mae Gassaway

EDMONTON – Charlotte Mae Pruitt Gassaway, 70, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. She was born in Glasgow, KY, on November 16, 1955, to the late Bert and Margie Clemmons Pruitt.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Emily Robin Hurt, and two siblings, Darlene Gassaway and Rodney Pruitt.

Mrs. Gassaway was a member of the Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church and enjoyed reading and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Dale Gassaway of Edmonton, KY; two stepsons, Nathan Gassaway (Amy) of Summer Shade, KY and Adam Gassaway (Jessica) of Bowling Green, KY; three step grandchildren, Ellie, Dalton, and Landon Gassaway; a sister-in-law, Lecia Pruitt of Edmonton, KY, and a very special friend, Robin Beard (Stacy).

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be after 10:00 am on Sunday at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home.
