Donald Parker

SELLERSGURG, IN – Donald Parker, 74 years old, went to be with the Lord on January 24, 2026, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. Donald was born on October 25, 1951, to the late Benjamin Raymond “Jack” Parker and Mary Lewis Eaton Parker in Glasgow, Kentucky.

Donald moved to Southern Indiana at the age of 17, where he currently resides in Sellersburg, Indiana, upon his death. Donald was employed by Ashland Oil for 22 years and retired from Goodyear Tire Company in 1995.

Survivors include his significant other, Carolyn Curtis; brothers, Willie Parker (Brenda), Depp Lee Parker, Charles Parker (Margaret); sisters, Rosemary Childres, Laura Marr, Ruby Adams (Gary); several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Jean Parker; his brothers: Jimmy Parker, Harry Thomas, and Billy Raymond; sisters, Margaret Houchens and Virginia Kewon; one brother-in-law, Haskel Houchens; and one sister-in-law, Kathy Parker.

Funeral will be 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Parker Cemetery. Visitation will be after 8:00 am on Wednesday until time for services. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to your favorite charity in Donald’s memory.
