Wanda Joyce Dubree

SUMMER SHADE – Wanda Joyce Dubree, 69, passed away Saturday, January 24, at her home. Born on June 10, 1956, in Monroe County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Wilma Lois (England) and Dewey Dubree.

She worked at Kentucky Apparel for six years. She was a member of Bethlehem Community Church.

Wanda is survived by a daughter, Amanda Gail Stoops, of Summer Shade, KY; two sons, Christopher Dale Dubree and Jamie Joe Pitcock (Pammy), both of Tompkinsville, KY; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Kathy Jones (Kevin) of Tompkinsville, KY; Margie Holbrook (Carlos) of Raceland, KY; four brothers, Robert Bobby Dubree of Gamaliel, KY, Kenny Dubree of Summer Shade, KY, Larry Dubree of Nicholasville, KY, and Harold Dubree of Gamaliel, KY.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Myrtle Marie, and a brother, Randall Dubree.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. Joe Botts will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday after 9:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Wanda’s memory may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses.
