The Chalybeate Fire Department brought the spirit of the season to life as it hosted its annual Christmas in Chalybeate fundraiser event on November 15th. This much-anticipated community gathering drew crowds of all ages, eager to kick off the holiday season with family and friends.
The festive atmosphere buzzed with excitement and laughter, as families enjoyed a wonderful variety of food trucks and vendors. Favorites like Pelican’s Ice, A Sip of Seattle, and Riverside Eats and Treats offered delicious bites and sweet treats, providing something for everyone to savor.

The Fire fighters don’t get compensated for their hard work and bravery that comes with putting out fires and serving their community. This is why every year the department hosts a fundraiser in an effort to connect with the community and raise money for their equipment and gear. It is a great way for the community to come together, support the fire department, and celebrate the joy of the holidays!
