Tammy Denean Poynter

SAVOYARD – Tammy Denean Poynter, 60, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025, at TJ Samson Hospital. She was born on November 23, 1964, to the late William and Nina Mae “Louise” Poynter. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, William “Cowboy” Poynter, Darrell Steve Poynter, Richard Poynter, and Patricia Ann Atwell.

She is survived by her sister, Brenda Poynter McReynolds; nieces and nephews, Marcie Atwell, Sherry Branstetter, Michael McReynolds, Gary Poynter, Danyell Morrison, and April Poynter; and a special friend, Camille Church.

In honor of Tammy’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation. There will be a memorial service held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton.
