The Pop-Up driver’s license was busy last Friday at the Community Center. With a need for more pop-ups, Edmonson is slated for another on October 15.
Over 100 people took advantage of the close-to-home option to renew their driver’s licenses and IDs. Even with appointments, there was some wait time, but it could be done in more comfort than if you traveled to one of the regional offices.
Thanks to the Senior Pantry for providing snacks and refreshments, the Edmonson County Judge Exec office for coordinating the event, Mike Clubb and the Edmonson County public works for setting up tables and chairs, and volunteers, Ann Bullock, Marlene Webb, Delores Jones, and Vickie Walker.
