Have you ever wanted to be a part of Hollywood history? Well, you may be in luck. Film and movie crews are looking into the area for locations to shoot upcoming films.
Edmonson County Tourism Director, Vanessa Ulm is looking for places to submit to the film industry. Currently, she is scouting old tobacco barns and large family homes that have seen better days.

Several Western films and some revolving around the Civil War era need locations. Large former stately homes that are well-loved but slightly rundown are needed. The homes need to be usable inside and out but do not need the polished look of a new home. The barns need to be large, with plenty of space.
The idea is a well-off tobacco farm family that has fallen on tougher times. The two do not need to be together. If you have one, please send pictures and information to Vanessa Ulm at vulmtourism@windstream.net or call the office at 270-597-2222.
