Republican Party: Announces Call to Reorganize

The Barren County Republican Party will hold a meeting on Saturday. The deadline to submit a letter of interest for becoming a county officer is February 18.

The Barren County Republican Party will hold a reorganization meeting on February 22 at 1 p.m. in the Barren County Fiscal Courtroom.

During this meeting, precinct officers (captain, co-captain, and youth captain) will be elected for each precinct. Following this, the newly-elected precinct officers will vote on an election for county officers (chairman, vice chairman, secretary, treasurer, and youth chair).

Anyone interested in becoming a county officer should submit a letter of interest to the nominating committee at barrencountyrepublicanparty@gmail.com by 4 p.m. on February 18.

All registered Republicans eligible to vote in the last general election are allowed to vote in the reorganization meeting. Please present your government-issued photo ID at check-in.
