On January 31, The Butler County Chapter NSDAR gathered at the Butler County Courthouse for the dedication of the “Never Forget Garden”.  The goal for the Never Forget Garden is to encourage our community to express their remembrance, love, respect, gratitude and commitment to never, ever, forget or forsake those who have served and sacrificed on behalf of our community.

The Never Forget Garden offers our community a place to show our unwavering commitment to the principles that define us as Americans and provokes the patriotic spirit that resides deeply in the hearts of our citizens.

The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) received a grant of $500 for the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Never Forget Garden in the late Fall.  Millions continue to make a pilgrimage to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier for the past 100 years.  NSDAR wants to remember them now, as before, and in the future.  There will be a larger ceremony celebrating the Never Forget Garden in May, so keep watch for the time and place.

Members of the Butler County Chapter NSDAR and community leaders gather on January 31 at the Butler County Courthouse to dedicate the Never Forget Garden in honor of veterans’ service and sacrifice.
