Tammy Denise Harper

EDMONTON – Tammy Denise Harper, 57, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025, at her home. Tammy was born May 6, 1967, to Travis Wade Brown and Mary Sue Stilts Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Harper; father, Travis Wade Brown; Kendall McDonald; paternal grandparents, James “Ted” Brown and Myrtle “Ma Tennie” Young Brown; and maternal grandparents, Haskin Stilts and Mary Birge Stilts.

Tammy was employed at Shuffett’s Adult Day Heh. She enjoyed joking around with people and being mischievous. Anyone that knew Tammy knew she loved drinking Ski, eating Reese Cups, and smoking Pall Mall cigarettes. Tammy loved taking care of people, going on trips to the beach, spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

She is survived by two children, Kimberly Ellis of Edmonton and Travis Harper of Lexington; two grandchildren, Caroline and Brayden Ellis of Austin, KY; her mother, Mary Sue Brown of Edmonton; three siblings, Debbie Cash (Steven Murphy) of Bardstown, David (BJ) Brown of Columbia, and Timothy (Cassandra) Brown of Edmonton; several nieces and nephews, Dylan Cash, Madison (Kailib) Crawley, Brooklyn Brown (Stone Passmore), Destiny (Trevor) Murphy, Taylor (Alyssa) Brown, Susan (Abel) Talbot, Matthew (Sarah) Harper, Lucus (Emily) Harper, Courtney (Alex) Biggs, Garrett Shields and special friend Brenda Tarry. She is also survived by a host of aunts, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services for Tammy Harper will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Butler Funeral Home with burial in the Harper Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday and after 8:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Butler Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted to the care of Mrs. Harper.
