Sharron Lyn Clarkson

GLASGOW – Sharron Lyn Clarkson, 59, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Sharron was born in Tompkinsville, KY on December 27, 1965, a daughter of Brenda (Crumpton) Clarkson and the late Bobby Clarkson.

Sharron worked as a registration clerk at Holiday Inn in Glasgow, KY. She graduated from Tompkinsville High School Class of 1983.

Sharron is survived by her mother, Brenda Clarkson, of Glasgow, KY; three sons, Shawn Emberton, of Fountain Run, KY; Brock Emberton, and wife, Amber, of Tompkinsville, KY, and Tanner Napier of Glasgow, KY; three grandchildren, Oaklee and Jax Emberton, and Lili Castillo.

She is preceded in death by her father, Bobby Clarkson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Yokley Trible Funeral Home. Entombment to follow at Monroe County Memorial Lawn Mausoleum. Visitation is Tuesday, January 7, 4:00-8:00 p.m., and Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sharron’s memory may be made to the funeral home.
