Bobbye Bonner

GLASGOW – Bobbye Bonner, 87, departed this life Tuesday, December 31, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Bobbye was born in Hillsboro, Tennessee on August 22, 1937, to the late Clyde Bonner and the late Eunice Myers Bonner. He came to Kentucky and opened the Western Auto Store on the Square in Glasgow. Eventually, Bobbye went into the used car business for 46 years. He never saw a stranger.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Beverly Crownover Bonner; two sons, Keith Bonner (Kim) and Barry Bonner; two granddaughters, Kenzie Bonner and Allie Bonner.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, H. C. Bonner and Kenneth Bonner; one nephew, Durell Bonner.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday and continuing Sunday after 9:00 am until time for services
