Steve Harwood

GLASGOW – Steve Harwood, 67, passed away Monday, November 4, 2024, at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville. A native of Barren County, he was the son of the late Marion Junior Harwood and Edith Steenbergen Harwood.

Steve was a truck driver for FedEx. He had a special interest in trucks and his antique tractors, but his love interest was for his grandkids.

Survivors include his wife, Sheryl Jessie Harwood; two children, Scott Harwood (Holly) and Staci Sigler (Edwin); a daughter-in-law, Amy Harwood, all of Glasgow; ten grandchildren, Nick Groce, Clayton Harwood, Destiny Harwood, Caleb Harwood, Kolten Harwood, Braylee Harwood, Maxen Harwood, Bentlee Sigler, Larkyn Harwood, and Kyler Sigler; two great-grandchildren, Jaxon Harwood and Skyler Kinser; two brothers, Marion Dean Harwood (Cathy) and Ricky Harwood (Lori); one sister, Pam Brewington; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Shannon Harwood; and one brother, Jerry Harwood.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 8,2024, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
