Wanda Ellen Wheeler

GLASGOW – Wanda Ellen Wheeler, 74, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky. She was born March 31, 1950, in Summer Shade, Kentucky to the late Terry Page and Lillian Starnes Page. Wanda retired as a line operator from DANA and regularly attended Southside Baptist Church. She loved watching NASCAR, boating, and was a huge UK fan, especially basketball.

Survivors include her grandson, Matthew Thomas Evans; one great-granddaughter, Rowan Willow Evans; one brother, Roy Page (Fay); a childhood friend, Carolyn Pursley; her dog, Roxie; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Wheeler; daughter, Tammy Annette Evans; one brother, Truman Page; and two sisters, Alene Neeley and Shirley Rhoton.

The funeral service for Mrs. Wheeler will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12:00 PM until time for the service at the funeral home.
