Terry Owen Gibson

EDMONTON – Terry Owen Gibson, 65, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024, at TJ Samson Hospital. Terry was born November 13, 1958, to the late Albert and Lois Gibson.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Tony Gibson; and sisters-in-law, Kathy Gibson and Debbie England. Terry enjoyed spending time with his family, riding, and training horses.

He is survived by his brother, Teddy Gibson of Edmonton; fiancé, Johnnietta Jessie of Edmonton; one nephew, Jonathan (Kathy) Gibson; special children, Tina Frey, Kyle (Twyla) Jessie, Matthew (Emily) Jessie, Josh (Emily) Mckinney, Megan Bruner, and Jeremiah (Brianna) Mckinney; grandchildren, Shane Frey, Mason Frey, Hailey Jessie, and Isiash Jessie; great-grandchild, James Allen Frey; aunts, Roeana Jessie and Lona Ruth Shive; uncles, Kimble Gibson and Leon Gibson; and his special friend, David (Maryann) Mckinney.

Funeral services for Terry Gibson will be held at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Butler Funeral Home with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home and after 8:00 AM Wednesday until time of the service.
