Judy Ann Copas Irvin

MT. HERMAN – Judy Ann (Copas) Irvin, age 74,passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024, surrounded by her family at Signature Health Care of Monroe County, KY. Judy was born on August 26, 1949 in Barren County, KY, a daughter of the late Hershel and Nellie Bell (Birge) Copas.

Judy worked at KY Apparel for 20 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, coloring, doing puzzles, and watching horror movies.

Judy is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and Scotty Combs of Tompkinsville, KY; Lisa and Tommy Wilborn, and Christy and Jamie Vickery both of Mt. Herman, KY; 13 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren, and was expecting another in December.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her companion, Reggie Bryant; siblings, Harley T. Copas, Tom Copas, Red Copas, Cotton Copas, Buddy Copas, and Roy Copas, Barbara Harris, Patricia Howard, Kathleen Smith, Francis Sherry, and Dorothy Dugard.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Yokley Trible Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mud Lick Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday mornings after 9:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Judy’s memory may be made to Signature Health Care of Monroe County Activities Department.
