The Metcalfe County Public Library in conjunction with the summer reading program presented Freddy Fossil’s Dino Show on Friday at the Bowling Park gym.
The show was well received by the crowd with many more children in attendance than the previous events. Along with his assistant, presenter Freddy Fossil (Paul Adams) captured and kept the kid’s imagination and attention throughout the program.
He presented facts about dinosaurs with a streak of humor and by making use of the children’s own imaginations. He divided the show into sections and in each section, he chose volunteers from the audience.
He amazed the children with his magician’s touch while interacting with the volunteers. Freddie Fossil included the children in a fun way to explain who a Paleontologist is and what they do. He also interacted with the children using a very realistic dinosaur puppet.
Unfortunately, one of Freddie Fossil’s strict policies is to not allow any photos, videos, or audio recordings of his show. He did however allow a few photos of the crowd before the show began.
If you get a chance to see one of Freddie Fossils’ shows which are especially for libraries, definitely go, because you will enjoy it almost as much as your children.
