Buc-ee’s Travel Center Open in Smiths Grove

The Texas-based travel center Buc-ee’s, known for brisket sandwiches and its beaver mascot, opened in Smiths Grove today, Monday, June 24 at 6 a.m.
The new store is located at 4001 Smiths Grove-Scottsville Road, Smiths Grove, Ky., next to the intersection onto Interstate 65.
“We are so excited to celebrate the grand opening of our latest travel center on this beautiful stretch of I-65 between Nashville and Louisville,” Stan Beard, the director of real estate at Buc-ee’s, stated in a news release. “Smiths Grove may be small, but the community has welcomed us with as much love and enthusiasm as our largest cities, so we’re excited to be here and watch this partnership grow.”
