Hazel Runell Davis

GLASGOW – Hazel Runell Davis, 85, passed away peacefully Monday, June 17, 2024, at Hospice of Southern Kentucky surrounded by her family. She was born December 7, 1938, in Wisdom, Kentucky to the late Vernon Pedigo and Nanny “Ollie” Taylor Pedigo. Runell was an assembly line operator at Mallory for over 40 years and was a devoted member of Glasgow Baptist Church. She loved sewing and quilt making in her free time.

Survivors include three children, Wayne Neal, Kathy Neal, Barbara Ann Poston (Randy); four grandchildren, Derek Neal (Krista), Drake Neal, Jessica Gassaway (Adam), Nathan Poston; four great-grandchildren, Maddox, Jakkson, Locklynn, and Finn Neal; and three sisters, Maxine Turner, Barbara Dial, and Bonnie Gassaway.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph “Joe” Davis.

The funeral service for Mrs. Davis will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 22, 2024, at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens.
