Lois Edna Gibson

EDMONTON – Lois Edna Gibson, 91, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Metcalfe County Health Care. Edna was born March 26, 1933, to the late Euliss and Leitha Walbert Gibson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert Gibson; son Tony Gibson; brothers, Kenneth and Edward Gibson; and daughters-in-law, Debbie and Kathy.

Edna was a selfless lady who loved her family and friends. She loved quilting, canning food, and working in her garden and flower beds.

She is survived by her sons, Terry Gibson and Teddy Gibson both of Edmonton; one grandson, Jonathan (Kathy) Gibson of TN; great-grandchildren, Tenley and Tessa Gibson; sister, Roena Gibson Sexton of Glasgow; brother, Kimble Gibson of IN; and her special friends, Sandy Froedge and Brenda Page.

Funeral services for Lois Edna Gibson will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Butler Funeral Home with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home and after 8:00 AM Thursday until time of the service.
