Barbara Lee Harris

Barbara Lee Harris, 93, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, at her residence. The daughter of the late Harry French and the late Volnie (Morris) French, she was born in Indiana on January 22, 1931. Barbara was a Homemaker and a member of Landmark United Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by five daughters, Sharon Denham, Peggy Wagoner (Vernon), Lana Adkins (Jim), Pamela White (Doug), Jennie Monk (Rick); she was the proud grandmother of 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; one brother, William French; one sister, Carol Lynn Jacobs.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Marion Houston Harris; one son-in-law, Reverend James Denham; one great-granddaughter, Ellison Sherman; two brothers, and one sister.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday May 24, 2024, at Landmark United Pentecostal Church with burial in the Scottsburg Cemetery, in Indiana. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, and Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until time for the service at the church. Services will be under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
