Tommie Kerr

MUNFORDVILLE – Tommie Kerr, age 74, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at The Medical Center of Bowling Green. She was a native of Northtown and farmed most of her life. She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Northtown United Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading and sitting on her front porch watching the hummingbirds.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Easol “Sonny” Kerr; four sisters, Mary Norman, Janetta Bunch, Elizabeth Bush, and Eldora Atwell; two brothers, Jim Isbell and James Isbell.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Blackford (Todd) of Saint Angelo, Texas; her granddaughter, Kimberly Harris (Nathan), of Ozona Texas; two great-grandchildren, Westley Harris and Cassandra Harris; two sisters, Rosie Gentry (Wayne) and Adell Poynter (James); two brothers, David Coates (Elaine) and Clifford Coates (Kim).

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
