Joanna Locke, age 81 Passed Away

 

Joanna Locke, age 81 of Hardyville, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024 at her home. She was a native of Hart County and a member of Fairview Church Of Christ. She farmed most of her life and was a mail carrier for the Hardyville Post Office for many years. She babysat and helped raise many kids in the Hardyville Community. She loved listening to Hart County Basketball and watching UK Basketball.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Teddy Locke; her parents, Lemuel and Helen McInteer.

She is survived by her cousins and a host of friends, who cared for her dearly.

Funeral services will be held at Winn Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M on Monday, April 22, 2024. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M – 2:00 P.M. on Monday, April 22, 2024 with burial to follow in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.

To honor Joanna’s wishes, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to Potters Children’ Home, ARK, or your charity of Choice. Memorial donation envelopes will be provided at Winn Funeral Home.
