Henry Donald Edmunds

GLASGOW – Henry Donald Edmunds, age 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at U of L Hospital in Louisville, KY, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

Donny was born on April 9, 1946, to Walter and Virginia Edmunds. He graduated from Park City High School in 1964, served in the U.S. Marines (1969-71) and graduated from WKU in 1973. He began working on the family farm after graduation and was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of the Beckton Church of Christ. He enjoyed traveling, van driving, old car and gun shows, dialoging with friend via the internet, and his precious little grand-girls.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Scarlett Davis Edmunds; his son, James Carlton Edmunds (Katherine); two grandchildren, Eleanor Grace and Evelyn Jane Edmunds; one sister, Carley Beier of Strongsville, OH; many cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Hans Beier.

The funeral service for Mr. Edmunds will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday afternoon from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
