Elijah James Matthews Passed Away

Elijah James Matthews, infant son of Michael and Samantha Smith Matthews, was born on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 2:47 PM. He gained his angel wings on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 4:12 PM, living 7 days, 1 hour, and 25 minutes.

He is survived by his parents and his big brother, Samuel Matthews; his maternal grandparents, Joel and Ann Smith, Glasgow, KY; his paternal grandparents, Henry and Jane Matthews, Buffalo, KY; one aunt, Cassandra Matthews, Elizabethtown, KY; and a host of other extended family.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 PM on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home.
