Emma Bolles

GLASGOW – Emma Bolles, age 93, passed away at her residence, Tuesday, April 16, 2024. She was born in Rittman, OH, on April 2, 1931, to the late Charles Edward Burger and the late Catherine Elizabeth (Plough) Burger.

Emma is survived by her husband, Donald Jess Bolles; her son, Stanley Jones (Esther); two daughters, Catherine Bracken and Barbara Pollock; three stepchildren, Cindy Blake (Derrick), Laura Chisum, and Don L. Bolles (Heather); five grandchildren, Amanda Gudnason (Huckleberry), Benjamen Stites, Michael Jones (Kristen), Charles Jones (Stacey), and Stephen Jones (Brandi); thirteen great-grandchildren, Faith DelGreco, Emma Greenleaf, Abigail Greenleaf, Kylee Valdes, Hunter Jones, Seth Jones, Jacob Jones, Joshua Jones, Kyle Jones, Gabriel Jones, Zain Jones, Kolbie Lee Jones, and Noah Jones; and several great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Herbert Jones; two sisters, Gertrude Green and Mary Klein; her brother, Joseph Burger; two half-brothers, Earl Burger and Russell Burger; and a half-sister, Agnes Burger.

The family has honored her wishes with cremation under the care of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
