Cabble Dale Gentry

GLASGOW – Cabble Dale Gentry, 83, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2024, at Glasgow State Nursing Facility. He was born October 29, 1940, in Tompkinsville, Kentucky to the late Sammy N. Gentry and late Eddie May Key. Dale was of the Baptist faith. He loved to spend his free time hunting. Dale served his community in his lawn care business for more than forty years.

Survivors include his son, James Dale Gentry; daughter, Sherry Jean Garner; granddaughter, Ashley Gentry; grandson, Gavin Garner; Wanda Gentry; stepchildren, Tammy (Stevie) and Joe Johnson; step grandchildren, Lee (Alexis), Casey Crain, Kelly (Carrington), Charlie (Coty), Nikki, Krystal, Bly; and eight step great-grandchildren; siblings, Randall Gentry from Indiana, Geraldine Jackson of Glasgow, Wanda (Doug) Miles of Glasgow, Johnny Gentry (Betty) of Cave City, Anita Bragg (Larry) of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Lynn Gentry; and sister, Eva Slinker.

The funeral service for Mr. Gentry will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, April 14, 2024, at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial at Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Saturday, April 13th from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Sunday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
